“ENSURING BETTER LEARNING OPPORTUNITY IS THE CENTER OF OUR RESPONSIBILITY”, SAID HON. MINISTER OF STATE IN CHARGE OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, GASPARD TWAGIRAYEZU DURING HIS WORKING VISIT TO REB.

On Thursday 21st May 2020, Hon. Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education, Mr. Gaspard Twagirayezu visited Rwanda Education Board (REB) and was able to tour REB premises and discuss with REB senior management.

During the visit, Hon. Minister of State, Mr. Gaspard Twagirayezu underlined that literacy and numeracy should be adequately taught to give the foundation to further levels of education. He commended REB efforts to produce desired teaching and learning resources and use of ICT in education to provide remote learning during Covid 19. He recommended that efforts be conjugated to achieve a skilled teaching force through well-coordinated and results oriented trainings and Continuous Professional Development (CPDs).

Hon. Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education, Mr. Gaspard Twagirayezu was also briefed about ongoing projects and recommened their close monitoring towards desired goals.
